Pam Scheppele & Natalie Nadeau Earn Designations

Presque Isle and Bangor, ME – The Bangor and Presque Isle-based financial services firm of Thompson-Hamel, LLC is pleased to announce Pam Scheppele and Natalie Nadeau have earned professional designations that will allow them to provide added services to Thompson-Hamel’s client base.

Pam ScheppelePam Scheppele has earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation from the American College of Financial Services. Candidates for the RICP designations must complete a minimum of three college-level courses and pass a series of two-hour proctored exams. They must also have three years of experience, meet stringent ethics requirements, and participate in The College’s continuing education program.

Ms. Scheppele has been an Associate at Thompson-Hamel for nearly 29 years. Ms. Scheppele also has a Maine Life and Health Insurance license and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designations.

According to Thompson-Hamel’s Managing Partner, Brian Hamel, “Pam now has the education and tools to assist Thompson-Hamel in preparing plans that will help increase the likelihood of its clients to have sustainable income in retirement. From Social Security planning strategies to estate tax issues, our clients will find the help they need to create a secure future and we are so pleased Pam took the initiative to secure this RICP designation for the benefit of our clients.”

Natalie NadeauNatalie Nadeau recently passed her Maine Life and Health Insurance licensing exam. She can now offer her Thompson-Hamel clients life, disability income, and long-term care insurance, as well as fixed and equity-indexed annuities. Ms. Nadeau is currently preparing to take her Series 6 Registered Securities Representative licensing exam.

Natalie is based out of Thompson-Hamel’s Bangor office at 27 State Street and came to Thomson-Hamel with over 11 years of retail and commercial banking experience in the Bangor area at Machias Savings Bank (3 years) and for the past 8 years at Camden National Bank, most recently, as an Assistant Vice President of Treasury Management and Government Banking.
