Bangor and Presque Isle, ME – The Bangor and Presque Isle-based financial services firm of Thompson-Hamel, LLC are pleased to announce Natalie Nadeau and Michael Marquis have recently earned professional designations that will allow them to provide added services to Thompson-Hamel’s client base.
Natalie Nadeau recently passed her Series 6 and Series 63 Registered Securities Representative exams. Combined with her Maine Life and Health Insurance license, she can now offer her Thompson-Hamel clients a full array of mutual funds and annuity products, as well as life, disability income, and long-term care insurances.
“We are impressed with the initiative Natalie has demonstrated during her first six months with our firm. These licensing exams are challenging and her passing them in such a short time-frame demonstrates her knowledge level and her ability to professionally assist her clients” stated Brian Hamel, Managing Partner of Thompson-Hamel.
Natalie is the oldest daughter of Thompson-Hamel’s Managing Partner, Brian Hamel. She is based out of Thompson-Hamel’s Bangor office. She came to Thompson-Hamel with over 11 years of retail and commercial banking experience in the Bangor area at Machias Savings Bank (3 years) and for the past 8 years at Camden National Bank, most recently, as an Assistant Vice President of Treasury Management and Government Banking.
Michael Marquis is a two-year Husson University intern with Thompson-Hamel. He recently passed his Maine Life and Health insurance licensing exam. He can now offer his Thompson-Hamel clients life, disability income, and long-term care insurance, as well as fixed and equity-indexed annuities. Michael is currently preparing to take his Series 6 and Series 63 Registered Securities Representative licensing exams to earn those designations.
“It has been a pleasure to have Michael as a valued member of our Team as he continues with his higher education pursuits at Husson’s Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) campus. Michael has a bright future ahead of himself at Thompson-Hamel. It’s our honor to support him through this internship program,” stated Hamel.
Michael, who works out of Thompson-Hamel’s Presque Isle office, recently earned his Associate’s Degree in Accounting through NMCC’s partnership with Husson. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees through Husson.
